A relative has died. How do I have their names removed form the electoral roll?
The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is notified by the State Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages for each State and Territory in Australia of deceased persons. The AEC can also obtain this information from relatives of the deceased. Relatives need to provide the following information to AEC staff.
