Fascor was introduced contained by the early 70’s as a rite enhancement of the Bear member cores. It essentially is resin impregnated maple. If you look at the feeler edges the cores will have a grey appearance, looking almost dirty. That is the Fascor feeler lamination. On all the elder Bears the limb edges be the lighter color of the maple core. Not sure how much difference it made, but they are great shooting bows.
