A Recreational Vehicle is a Motor Home. Right?
Not necessarily! An RV has become a generic term for Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheel Trailers, Pop-Up Tent Trailers, Truck Campers, Vans and even water craft like Boats and Jet Skis, also Motor Cycles and ATVs. Even Park Models are considered RV’s. Usually we think of RV’s as related to camping. In the camping industry RVs can be divided into two general categories. Motorized are non-motorized. The ones that have power trains are called motor homes and the one that do not are called trailers because they are towed by a vehicle.
