A question for the parents – what would you do if Kieron gave up painting?
‘Kieron is so much more than his art, and if he gave up painting, he would fill his time with something else. We have suggested that Kieron think about a time when he doesn’t sell commercially, and he doesnt mind. At this moment in time, he enjoys what he’s doing, he has a balance doing all the other things he chooses, so he wouldn’t lose anything. I can’t imagine Kieron giving it up completely, even when on a train, he’s sketching. As a family, if Kieron lost the media/commercial attention, we would re-gain our quiet family environment that worked for us before’.
