A pizza chain in Texas, was hit with death threats & hate mail after accepting Mexican pesos. Do you think we should accept Canadian and Mexican currency since they border us?
I don’t know where that could have been. It certainly wasn’t here. I live close to the Mexican border, but I don’t think the stores here accept Mexican money. Also we don’t have a pizza place. When I travelled to Mexico City, I loved exchanging money. You have to do the math in your head. I think it would benefit the school kids if they had to do that and maybe teach them international trade skills.
