A Pentecost Sunday (May 31) question: are the Gifts of the Holy Spirit still available for the Christian?
Yes, The Spirit of God is the Power of God at work. It surpasses the limitations of the physical realm. Unfortunatly, Satan has had a field day in his distortion and mockery of the gifts of God’s Sprit in the “traditional Christian” Churches of today’s day and age. Today, it all a show. Rest assured if something is genuine from God then Satan has a counterfiet that so closely resembles the truth that if it were possible, even the very elect of God would be deceived. Who are those that truly are of God and know him and are not deceived by the counterfeit? 1 John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. They keep the Commandments of God. Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD AND HAVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST. By the Way – Keeping the Sabbath is the 4th COMMANDMENT.
Yes! Just this morning, the Holy Spirit brought to mind a sequence of scripture assuring me what the seal of the Holy Spirit is. We are entering Gods Rest when we are born of God (Born again.). The Holy Spirit seals us when we first believed. We are born of God, not by our own doing, but by the will of God. So it isn’t something we do. We are birthed by Gods Spirit. That is why the OT is a shadow of things to come in Christ. Like there is the issue that that some religions believe the seal of Gods Spirit is going to Church on Saturday. But we aren’t suppose to judge (discern) other Christians by what Holidays or Sabbaths they regard as Holy. Because our Rest (Sabbath) is being born of God. This is when we enter His Rest. And this is abiding in Christ. The Holy Spirit seals our heart. In the OT the New Covenant is God writing His Love laws on our hearts. That the old hard heart is changed to a new soft pliable heart.
