Yes, but only as a last resort. As indicated in the section above, parents should be directed to contact ACER via email onlinehelp@acer.edu.au, or telephone if they do not have a credit card or they are unwilling to use it online. The parent will be sent a special registration form which they will need to mail back to ACER along with a cheque/money order covering the registration amount and the additonal administration fee for this service ($20). ACER will then activate their registration upon receipt of the form and payment. This option should not be heavily promoted, as it is a process of last resort. Alternatives are: 1). The parent negotiates with another family member or friend to use their credit card and pays the family member/friend the transaction amount in cash. 2). The parent pays the school and uses a school’s computer to register, the registrar then completes the registration by using a corporate credit card.
