A number of activities have been / are being performed by EUROCONTROL. How do they fit with CHAIN?
CHAIN will make leverage of most of EUROCONTROL’s recent activities which now need to be further exploited, by expanding them and tailoring them to address the upstream data supply chain problems, in particular. This concerns deliverables from: o EAD: The AIXM checking rules and the applied processes/tools; o AIS AHEAD and AIM Domain: – Electronic Aeronautical Information Publication (eAIP); – AIP Audit Assistant (AAA); – Service Level Agreements (SLA); – AIS AGORA; – Static Data Procedures (SDP); – Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model (AICM); – Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM); – ISO 9001 project. o NAV domain: Origination document (Survey standard), etc. In addition, most of the recent work undertaken by ICAO to draft guidance on the use of Internet for aeronautical applications will be considered during future development.
