A new high school is nice but what about the elementary grades?
Although the proposed facilities plan is a long range plan, all grade levels will be impacted in phase I. Utilizing the existing high school for grades 6 through 8 and the Donnelly wing for grade five frees up room for more than 150 students at both Boswell and Maplecrest Elementary schools. A committee is currently studying ways to divide grades 2, 3, and 4 between Boswell and Maplecrest. Parents, teachers, the Board of Education, and administration are all represented on this committee in an effort to find the best solution for Lebanon students. In addition, safety and security improvements will take place at each campus.
