A broken mirror is a broken mirror. My mother claimed it was bad luck, so I broke one and found my mother tried to arrange some bad luck. It made me realize that it is all about some people wanting to play games to control others. Once you see that you can uphold the ideas that you want. A broken mirror is just a broken mirror. If you’re really keen to make it a matter of luck then why not choose to make it good luck. Buy a small mirror every week expressly for the purpose of breaking it and attracting good luck. I once dropped a pack of mirrors in a warehouse, smashing 144 of them. that should be 1008 years bad luck! Luckily I don’t believe that nonsense either. The antidote is to not believe.

If you’re not superstitious why do you need an antidote? The reason they say when you break a mirror it’s seven years bad luck is that about 150 years ago mirrors where hand made and were difficult to come by in fact if you broke one it normally took several years to replace it.Hence seven years’bad luck’.
