A member in an RC, SS, or SIG joined recently but is not receiving e-mail notices. What could be the problem and how could it be solved?
Of course, there are many possible reasons why e-mails are not delivered to a given individual. Three common reasons we can address here are that their e-mail address changed after joining, the information originally provided was not entirely accurate, or SOT messages are being caught in a spam filter. We all know how unforgiving the e-mail system can be if even a tiny period or space is missing! Unfortunately, occasionally a member provides SOT with incorrect information, which is entered into the member database. Please ask the member to go to the SOT member database section of the SOT Web site and make sure that all contact information is correct and update it if this is not the case. If the member information is correct, please contact Kimberly von Brook for assistance.
