A lot of TJC classes have attendance policies. Does an Internet class?
Yes. We those those policies because we want you to succeed. For these Internet classes, you are required to post to the discussion list at least two times a week. Those posts count toward your grade, but they also count as your “Hello, I’m here.” If you miss “class” for three consecutive weeks, your grade for the semester may be in jeapardy. The enlightened discussion of and reflection on the material studied is the point. The instructor will not drop you from the class; you must withdraw yourself. To do so, please contact the counselors for the University Studies Program.
