From 1 October 2000 any person not cleaning up after their dog fouls Council land commits an offence. The Council provides an Animal Warden Service which will patrol problem areas to try to prevent this happening. The Service will provide No fouling signs, poop-scoops (usually free) and can issue “on the spot” fines for any offence witnessed. You can report this problem to the Dog Wardens by telephoning 01942 703401.
