A high school student at my school had his/her driver’s license suspended and they would like to get it reinstated. What is the process for this?
In most cases, the judge will want to see that the student has completed a full year of satisfactory attendance. Once he/she has done this, the student may contact the Truancy Prosecution Specialist at 225-0257 and asked to be placed on the juvenile court calendar to appear before the judge. On the court date, the student must present evidence of their record of satisfactory attendance. At that time, the judge will decide whether or not to reinstate their driver’s license.
