A Gartner Group report implied that TSI is moving away from ADABAS/NATURAL products. Is this true?
TSI has always been a vendor of products complementary to the SAG product line. All current TSI products rely on the existence of ADABAS and/or NATURAL at the site. TSI has no intention of abandoning ADABAS. At the urging of our customers, however, we are expanding our focus to include more than mainframe ADABAS/NATURAL. Many customers have expressed an interest in having versions of the TSI ADABAS/NATURAL tools for UNIX, OS/2, and Windows. Some have expressed interest in products for Oracle, Sybase, DB2, and Informix. We are currently investigating these areas and determining whether we should develop such products.
