A firm offered me an internship that is contingent upon me receiving course credit. Does the Business Administration Department make exceptions for that?

A. No. There is no valid reason for a firm to dictate what we should/should not do with our curriculum. If a firm is unwilling to consider you without course credit, then you should target other internships. The only other suggestion that I could offer would be to contact junior colleges or community colleges in the area and see if any of them are willing to award course credit for the internship. That course credit will not transfer back to W&L, but may allow you to continue with the internship.
