And, would you now break down and clean the tank with bleach before trying again (and wait a few weeks for a new filter pad to seed in my sump–that is unless the PolyFilter that is there now would work for the QT. It seems to be like the other pads, with the additional chemical coating that has been added. Mine has been in my sump for about two weeks.) P.S. Thanks for the suggestions about decor improvements in the QT. I can’t help myself in thinking that psychological issues are involved to some degree in their overall health, and tangs seem like sensitive fish.
