A child was given a three- month approval to allow for submission/follow-up on a hearing evaluation. Can I request reconsideration and submit a hearing screen?
Reconsideration can only be performed if the hearing screen, along with a written request for reconsideration and a copy of the partial approval/denial letter, is received within 35 calendar days from the date of the letter. If the hearing evaluation is not submitted within the reconsideration time frame, a new packet will have to be submitted, with the hearing screen included.
