Well… Yes and no. EA Pacific were formerly known as Westwood Pacific, a sister studio of Westwood Studios, under the same general manager, Louis Castle. These are the guys that created Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge as well as Nox and the design for Emperor: Battle For Dune. After the success of Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge the two studios split and Westwood Pacific is now EA Pacific, under the general management of Mark Skaggs. Basically the design team behind Generals is the same team that brought us Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge with some new faces.
