My Business: Loopers!

Business Description: Loopers! is a cool, hip, funky, crochet and knit and fiber art classes and business. I make stuff, I sell stuff and I teach kids how to do it too.

I cook, I cook a lot. I make up recipes and will share with everyone who will listen what i think about food

My Expertise: I cook, a lot, I'm good at it.

Experience: As an 11-year resident of Austin, Texas transplanted from Canada, self-described ‘cocktail mom’ of an 11-year-old son and former detective and cab driver, Tracy has led an, um…interesting life. Aside from her husband and son, she loves loopery of all sorts (the creative fiber arts), and food. She’s written for family magazines across five states, and currently writes about both her favorite subjects on two blogs where her spicy wit infuses all her creations, edible and otherwise. She is most proud of introducing Texans to the Cornish pasty, and claims to have perfected the roast chicken. She would love to be a full-time food writer some day. Her restaurant reviews for Eating Everywhere reflect her love of cooking, and eating, especially from a mom’s perspective. She figures she must be a good cook, since “everyone around me gains weight”.
