As a professional speaker and coach, I've been blessed with traveling all over and spending time talking with and to the most amazing people on the planet. I've won accolades, trophies, and best friends through my keynotes and workshops. I enjoy helping speakers with all aspects - from blocking to word choice to PowerPoint.

The original owner of the Grammar Police website, I have a passion for helping others with their writing. From basic editing and grammar to tone and style, I have helped novelists, speakers, and webmasters of all levels clean up their copy. I have written and published several books and have had my freelance articles, short stories, and poetry published in various print venues as well as all over the internet. I currently freelance as an editor and writer for organizations such as NPR.

I spent several years researching and networking while writing my book, "Nose-to-Nose Networking" and developing training programs around the lessons in it. I now work with all levels, from business owners to those with social anxiety, empowering each person to rediscover those basic skills that we seem to lose in our adulthood. I believe that the verb "networking" has enabled too many to lose sight of the purpose of building both social and business networks. A well-built, functional network must be cultivated and maintained through effective relationship building.
