You can also limit your wall views to just your self or close friends or family. You can block unwanted contacts. If a post coming across your Facebook timeline causes some kind of aggravation, all you have to do is unsubscribe from it.

I was abused for the first 13 years of my life. Both of my parents were very abusive. Though my mom did most of the abusing, my dad also did some. My dad know about the abuse but did nothing to stop it, and he even helped abuse my sister on the day she died according to one of dad's former coworkers.
