Published Fantasy Author, Professional Artist, and Aspiring Dog Trainer

more My name is Lacy. I live in Idaho and have 3 passions in life: animals, writing, and art. I have lived with animals all my life and owned everything from dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles. My goal is to in the future train service dogs and to accomplish that I've been studying canine behavior and training for 3 years and have worked with dogs for the last year and a half. I have also trained multiple dogs myself, including a special needs Australian Shepherd rescued from a negligent situation. I consider myself quite a bit more knowledgeable than the average person on dog breeds, behavior, body language, training, and general health because of this. I have also studied animal cruelty, animal rights, and the behavior of many other types of animals extensively, and have worked with multiple abuse rescues, including my own cat, who is now fully rehabilitated and successfully participates in cat shows in the Household division.

I have been writing for as long as I can remember and love fiction of all kinds, especially fantasy and science fiction. I have completed 3 novels to date and published one, with a second planned to be released later this year. I am self-published and had to teach myself the process and all its requirements. I love to help other writers and authors at any stages of their projects, from planning to marketing their released book. I believe publishing is an experience everybody who wants to be involved in should be able to, and I always enjoy sharing my own knowledge and experience to help make that happen.

Art is my third passion. I have been studying art history and technique for 8 years and have been producing and selling original artwork for 4 years. My specialties are acrylic paints and colored pencil but I have experimented in graphite, pen and ink, pastels, charcoal, sculpture, mixed media, digital, and more. My work has been featured in 3 art shows to date and I have sold at local conventions and festivals, as well as online.
