My Business: Writer / Photographer

My Expertise: History, Genealogy, Heraldry -- I've studied history at University of Massachusetts Amherst, University College Cork (Ireland), and Harvard University. I'm an expert on my native Boston, and also have some first hand experience with Amsterdam, Dublin, London, NYC, Paris, and Toronto.

Experience: I broke into self-publishing while living in Cork, Ireland. Then, after a short stint as newspaper editor in Provincetown on Cape Cod, I became a staff writer and photographer for a newspaper in Boston. Since then I've met, interviewed, or photographed interesting people from Bono to Barack Obama.

I've also been an intern for Boston Children's museum, a guide for the Massachusetts Audubon Society, a researcher for New England Historic Genealogical Society, and the coordinator of the Clinical Research Graduate Program at Tufts University.
