Experience: I have worked in my local hospital as a nutritionist, interned at food producing companies (calculating nutritional formulas on a molecular level), and spent time advising members on fitness and weight loss nutrition at my local fitness center. I also have Celiac's, so I am well versed on the topic of gluten free eating, and have worked closely with the Celiac Sprue Association. I have studied and worked in the field of nutrition for many years. This requires many courses in physiology, anatomy, molecular biology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, research, medical nutrition therapy, as well as advanced nutrition. This is all done to understand how the food we put into our bodies affects our health.
