I have held several careers throughout my working life starting with architecture. When I realized I was more technically-oriented than artsy, so to speak, I decided to enter the computer field and concentrated on technical support and management. I was involved on the end-user side of the field for over twenty years. When the dot.com bubble burst, I decided to go into teaching full-time as it is something I had done while I was in industry and on a aprt-time basis at the college level. I still teach part-time and do a great deal of freelance writing in my "spare" time. less
