After having my first child I returned to college to attain an Associate of Arts degree in Ornamental Horticulture. I have been gardening for over 30 years. My two loves are trees and vegetable gardening. I prefer organic methods including companion planting.
Raising-Chickens
My "expertise" in raising chickens comes from experience. I have raised both bantam and standard size chickens including help with 4-H projects for my children.
Raising-Rabbits
I have raised rabbits off and on for several years. Although they make great pets, I also raise them for meat and for the fertilizer they provide for my garden.
