Business Description: I am a visual artist and writer, living and working in Portland, OR. My work currently explores the relationship between the known and the unknown, and science fiction and science fact. I work in a variety of media, including sculpture, drawing, video and photography.
Degrees: B.A. Art Studio and English with a creative writing emphasis, from University of California at Davis, 2005.

My Expertise: I am very knowledgeable in the fields of post-war art and literature, including minimalism, conceptual art, video art, postmodernism and contemporary art, as well as contemporary and historical art theory. I am adept at various processes involved in art making, including, but not limited to, drawing techniques, sculptural techniques including mold-making and casting, digital video editing and Photoshop. Additionally, I am knowledgeable in some aspects of theoretical physics research and history, and areas of popular culture including punk, science fiction, and comic books.
Experience: My visual work has been exhibited across the U.S., including exhibitions in Portland, OR, San Francisco, Austin, and New York. I have written for several publications, including The California Aggie, and publications of Ballinger Publishing. My work has also been published in several independent publications.
