What is a T3 or DS3 line?

T3/DS3 Access Solution DS3 product is designed to handle the most bandwidth-intensive applications. A DS3 (or T3) is a digital communications link that supports data transmission rates of about 43-45Mbps. A DS3 line actually consists of 672 individual channels, each of which supports 64Kbps. DS3 services allow connectivity from 3Mbps to 45Mbps. You can select either a full, fractional or managed service. With our long and successful track record of providing DS3 connections to smaller ISPs and channel partners, you can be sure that a DS3 connection will give you and your customers the highest quality bandwidth available. DS3 customers are given a separate escalation list and PRIORITY service at the NOC. If they are experiencing any problems, loss of connectivity, etc., they are immediately escalated up the network management chain and given priority.
