What are the main features of the EVOLT™ E-500?
The EVOLT E-500 digital SLR camera is a part of the award-winning Olympus E-System. It features strong build quality, ergonomic design with the placement of commonly used controls on the surface of the camera. The Four Thirds standard mount accepts the 30-plus lenses designed specifically for the Four Thirds standard. Each Zuiko Digital lens features an internal CPU with firmware that communicates with the camera body to produce super-sharp, bright colorful pictures from edge-to-edge. The exclusive TruePic Turbo image processor delivers a camera with rapid response and smooth vivid images every time. Olympus innovated the Supersonic Wave Filter (SSWF), which vibrates 35,000 times per second to eliminate dust from the EVOLT E-500’s eight-megapixel, full frame transfer CCD image sensor, so you can change lenses anytime and anywhere. The 2.5″ high-resolution HyperCrystal LCD provides an all-around 160 viewing angle of images and menu items. The EVOLT E-500 features two memory card slots.
