What does a zoologist do?
A zoologist studies animals. Within the field are a lot of different potential occupations. Some teach. Some work in museums. Some work for state or federal governments. A very few work for private industry, either as employees or consultants. At one time or another, I’ve done each of these. If you are serious about becoming a zoologist, start thinking about graduate school. You will be competing with people with Ph. D.s in the field.
