How does the collective work?
Members of the collective are placed in the Nu Catalogue, which is sent to production companies and casting directors seeking performers. Like many casting agencies, Nu Actors Collective is a loan-out organization. Production companies pay NuAC for an actors involvement in a project, and the actor receives 90% (ninety percent) of the payment as his/her salary. This 10% commission is active for any and all incoming payments for a project, including royalties.
