What can i eat as a vegetarian?
You did not prepare your tofu correctly. It takes on the flavor of the seasonings you use. I like to use plenty of finely chopped onion, and minced garlic. It can taste great. You can stir fry it too, with green peppers. Have you tried Boca burgers or Garden Burger’s Chik patties? They are good. Sprinkle a hint of garlic on before cooking. You can use both in spaghetti, chili, tacos- you name it. At the steak house, I usually get the salad and load it with all the things I love (egg, cheese, chopped olives, cukes, tomatoes, lettuce- topped with my favorite dressing) along with cottage cheese and pineapples on the side. Get a baked potato and a slice of garlic bread. You will be full and satisfied. Spaghetti w/meatless sauce, spinach, mushroom or cheese stuffed ravioli, and vegetable lasagna are very good. Try a place that sells a humus sandwich or a Portabella mushroom sandwich. Also, go to Border’s or any other book store and look at some vegetarian magazines. You will lots of ideas.
