Can the Qosmio F50 run Crysis ?
It will run, you’ll probably have to use medium settings. Like the first poster said, you only get great performance in Crysis on the highest-end desktops. Those machines have overclocked high-end video cards with huge heatsinks, extra fans- all sorts of extra cooling apparatus that’s there’s no room for inside a laptop chassis. The only potential bugaboo is that Turbocache feature, which allows integrated video chipsets to steal your system RAM and use it as additional video RAM. That’s incompatible with some games and usually found only on low-end units. I’m rather surprised to see it on a 9700M GTS, but the bottom line, it will run… the machine’s overall specs are fine.
