95 mustangs do not have the old style speedo cable that the 87-93 have. the 94-95 mustangs are electronic there should be an electrical plug with two wires on it on the driver side of the transmission. If it is missing then you found your problem. If it is there then you probably need the plastic gear that slides in the trans. The little plastic gears are cheap and strip really easy.
