How to make deep fried snickers?
It is pretty simple and you don’t really need funnel cake mix. Freeze the snickers and mix some self raising flour, sugar, pinch of salt, cream / milk and water (half and half). You could add an egg if you like, but totally unnecessary. Heat oil to a high temperature – this will cook the batter quickly and seals the candy without letting anything pop out or spill. Fry until golden brown and serve. You can do the same with bounty bars (Yum!!), peanut butter cups, even ice cream: Freeze the ice cream until it’s pretty hard, not like the usual texture you would like to eat, it should be more icy. Roll a scoop of ice cream in a thinner batter than for the candy and then in a mixture of bread crumbs and dried fruit and nuts. The mixture should be chunky. Deep fry at a very high temperature until the batter forms a nice golden brown crust, but this should be quick. This is totally yum and is getting more popularized! We all scream for Fried Ice cream!
