Who volunteers at Concord Hospital?
Our volunteers are male and female, young and old, from all economic backgrounds, who wish to assist our staff in supporting Concord Hospital’s charitable mission. For the newcomer, volunteering provides a way to meet neighbors and get involved with the community. For the older volunteer, it is an opportunity to keep active, use lifetime skills, and meet interesting people. For anyone wishing to re-enter the work force or make a career change, it is an opportunity to gain experience through job shadows, career interviews, internships and volunteer service in clinical areas. The student volunteer starting at age 13, has an opportunity to explore a variety of healthcare fields, develop people skills, and experience first-hand a healthcare environment.
