Can I Go Back On Enbrel For Psoriasis?
Q: I had a bad case of guttate psoriasis in the past. I went through treatment at Stanford a few years ago with Enbrel in a blind study with great results. Over the last several months I have had a flare-up but not as bad as before. I think it is more plaque psoriasis now only some spread out spots on leg, elbows, lower back, scalp and groin. My dermatologist has me on topical treatment now. I don’t seem to be getting the results I would like. I want to know if I should try Enbrel again. While on treatment I had several knee surgeries, and there is a question about whether the treatment did not help me heal properly. I am doing fine now as far as the knee goes. Can you give me some feedback?
