Can Tedlar® bags be used to collect light sensitive compounds?

0

Light sensitive compounds and halogenated volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can be collected in black or layered Tedlar® bags. The black and layered bags protect the contents from light that causes sample degradation. Note that black Tedlar® contains carbon black which may absorb come compounds. Layered bags are typically constructed with layer of black Tedlar® on the outside and a layer of clear Tedlar® on the inside of the bag removing the worry of any compounds being absorbed by the carbon black.
