How does the “Max Picture Size” slider work?
The “Max Picture Size” slider allows you to shrink images before uploading them. This can speed up the file transfer significantly. The number on the bottom of the slider is the new maximum image width and height for all of the images that you are uploading. ScrapWalls will maintain the original aspect ratio when shrinking images. For example, if you have an original image that is 2000 x 1500 pixels (4:3 aspect ratio), and you reduce the maximum image size to 1600, then ScrapWalls will resize the image to 1600 x 1200 (still 4:3) before uploading it.
