What is Rebuilding Together Hartford, Inc?
Rebuilding Together Hartford, Inc. is the nation’s leading non-profit volunteer organization restoring and revitalizing America’s low income homes and communities. We particularly focus on the homes of the elderly, people living with disabilities and multigenerational families, so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence. On the last Saturday in April, community volunteers descend on a city to repair selected homes. Currently work is completed in more than 865 cities and towns across the country.
