Isn Front Page just for beginners?
This question comes up all the time. Mike’s take is this: Front Page is very easy to learn for someone just starting out in website design. Because of that, there are a lot of really badly designed websites that were designed in Front Page. However, blaming Front Page for a poor design is like a poor musician blaming his instrument. There are thousands of professionally designed sites on the Web that were developed using Front Page. Conversely, there are a lot of poorly designed sites that were developed using Dreamweaver. Again, it’s all about the talent of the musician… not the quality of the instrument. Front Page is no different than Dreamweaver, or GoLive, or any of the other WYSIWYG (stands for ‘what you see is what you get’) HTML editors in use today.
