Who is Dorothy Hamill?
Dorothy Hamill, born July 26, 1956, won the Gold Medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics, and captivated the world, not only with her figure skating but also with her hairstyle (which became a fad) and pleasing personality. Going pro soon afterwards, she toured with Ice Capades later Stars on Ice, and more recently as a guest star with Champions on Ice. Although she no longer competes, she continues to delight audiences with her elegant and graceful figure skating.
