Jean Froissart lived from approx.1337 to 1405 in medieval France. He was a “chronicler” – a writer who described his time in prose. His chronicles make good reading today. Froissart “Chronicles” Translated and published in 1968 by Geoffrey Brereton – Penguin Books.
