Who created the element iron ?

Well…according to the Bible (New Testament), Jesus invented iron (Col. 1:16). Science (the stellar nucleosynthesis theory) teaches that iron was formed in the center of stars, due to thermonuclear reactions. See the links below. No one person discovered it. It was “discovered” by ancient peoples to make weapons and tools. This is called the “Iron Age” and has various timings, depending on the culture and geographic region. EDIT: A slight correction to McMurdo’s answers. Only the elements up to uranium (no. 92) are natural. Anything past this is man-made. A possible exception is plutonium which was probably created in a natural nuclear reactor in Oklo, Gabon, Africa a couple of billion years ago.

Iron was created by nature, not invented by a person. There is no single person credited with discovering iron either — it has been known about since ancient times.

iron is an naturally occurring element so it was part of the earths core in the formation of the earth.

Iron wasn’t invented, since it is one of the 100+ chemical elements. Only alloys were invented; the first was bronze, an alloy of copper and tin.
