What is the CIW Certification Agreement?
The CIW Certification Agreement is a binding legal agreement governing the rights and responsibilities of all CIW certification candidates. It covers exam content copyright and non-disclosure requirements, candidate and certificant conduct, the use of CIW logos and copyrighted CIW trademarks, abuse of certification status, and other legal protections. You are required to complete the CIW Certification Agreement to be eligible for CIW certification. Some candidates who have taken CIW exams in previous years may have completed an older version of the CIW Certification Agreement. This Agreement is still valid if it is documented in your current CIW Candidate Information Center record. To determine whether your Agreement is completed and you are eligible for CIW certification, log in to the CIW Candidate Information Center and click the Candidate Agreement link in the left column.
