How to let a guy down easy?
Erm….no. You are certainly not “almost in love” when you’re not even “fully attracted to him”. Let me tell you a story….my accquaintance told me he “kinda liked me”. I wanted to be kind and let him down easy. I did, and we, graduallly, over time became best friends. Over a year later, he told me (after he had been showing me all year) he was in love with me. I liked him a bit but could never love him. I ended up getting into a relationship with somebody we both knew, and it destroyed him. All because I wasn’t firm enough to begin with. To top this all off, I carried on being so close during my relationship with my boyfriend and this guy started sending me roses, writing me poetry and telling me he had completely fallen in love with me, calling me at one stage 40 times in 24 hours. No joke. He was a lovely guy but can you imagine that when I didn’t like him? If I had told him straight out nothing would happen, I would have saved breaking his heart on numerous occasions..over a cours
