What did egyptians do in the afterlife?
Remember that the afterlife was a myth and that the egptians believed that it cosisted of much activity. The afterlife was literally a second life for the priviled egyptians that gained entry to it. They believed that provisions and belongings would have to be broufght with them or else they would not have their material things in the afterlife. they thouht that the gods wopuld be wioth them and that the surrondings in the afterlife would be highly elaborate and that they would live a luxe lavish life. Food would only exist in the afterlife by preists presenting the tomb of the person with fresh food everyday. They would have their pets and only the organs that they needed waiting for them in the afterlife. They would have an easier relaxed life with their servants and all that they needed. In other words it was paridise that they prepared hardly for on earth.
