What happends after default judgement?

You have six months from the date that you knew or should have known that the default judgment was entered to file a Motion to Vacate Default and Default Judgment. Only file this if you believe that you can win or get a smaller judgment. Once the motion is granted, you must be able to go to trial immediately. You will have an opportunity to settle at that point with the other party. Good luck with this. Note: See an attorney, if you need legal advice.
