This is a trick question. Actually Pest is now considered the capital of Hungary by Hungarians. Buda the city on the other side, the historical side doesn’t have much to do with Politics anymore. All the embassy’s, parliment and state building are in Pest… So, Pest and not Buda Pest. I live there and no this for a fact.
